Twenty of the Capital District’s most popular authors will gather to meet readers, autograph books, and discuss their work. Drop in for a few minutes, or stay the whole time.
THE EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
Select authors will participate in two panel discussions: one about their creative processes and another about publishing. Seating for the panel discussions will be limited. CLICK HERE for more info.
Copies of the authors’ books will be available for purchase. Market Block Books will donate a portion of each sale to the Troy Public Library.

Elizabeth Brundage is the author of the novels The Doctor’s Wife, Somebody Else’s Daughter and A Stranger Like You. She lives in the Capital District with her husband and three children. |

Jack Casey writes novels about his native upstate New York. His books include A Parliament of Fowls, Kateri–Lily of the Mohawks, A Land Beyond the River, and The Trial of Bat Shea. |
SUSAN DAITCH
Susan Daitch is the author of three novels, L.C, The Colorist, and Paper Conspiracies, and a collection of short fiction, Storytown named for the Lake George amusement park, and the 2013 novella Fall Out. She teaches at Hunter College in New York. |
ERIC DEVINE
Eric Devine is the Young Adult fiction author of Dare Me, Tap Out and This Side of Normal. He is also a high school English teacher and education consultant. |
LYDIA DAVIS
Lydia Davis is the author, most recently, of a long narrative poem adapted from a memoir and entitled “Our Village,” in a New Directions chapbook called Two American Scenes (2013), which she shares with a long poem by Eliot Weinberger. |

Ellen Graf is the author The Natural Laws of Good Luck, a memoir of a Chinese and American cross-cultural marriage. Ellen won a NYFA non-fiction fellowship in 2009, New Millennium first prize for non-fiction in 2010, and was a Rona Jafe and Orlando finalist in 2011. |

Since joining the Times Union in 1984, Paul Grondahl has covered both news and features and has been recognized with numerous awards. He is the author of Mayor Corning: Albany Icon, Albany Enigma and I Rose Like a Rocket, a Theodore Roosevelt biography. |

Shane Jones lives in upstate New York. He is the author of the novels Light Boxes and Daniel Fights a Hurricane, as well as the novella The Failure Six. |

David A. Salomon is Associate Professor of English at Russell Sage College where he also serves as Director of Undergraduate Research. He is the author of An Introduction to the Glossa Ordinaria as Medieval Hypertext. He is currently working on a study of St. Augustine as well as a Holocaust-related novel. |
EDWARD SCHWARZSCHILD
Edward Schwarzschild is the author of Responsible Men and The Family Diamond. He is an associate professor at the University at Albany, SUNY, and a fellow at the New York State Writers Institute. |
HOLLIS SEAMON
Hollis Seamon is the author of four books of fiction, including her debut young adult novel, Somebody Up There Hates You, and the short story collection Corporeality, both published in 2013. She teaches writing at the College of Saint Rose and Fairfield University. |

Tobias Seamon’s latest is the novella The Fair Grounds. Past work includes the novel The Magician’s Study and the short story collection The Emperor’s Toy Chest. He lives in Albany, NY. |
